On Thursday April 24th, P.A.V.S.A. will host the annual Take Back the Night event in the Minnesota Power Plaza on Superior Street and Lake Avenue. The event starts at 5pm.

At 7pm, participants will line up for the Take Back the Night March through downtown Duluth. The march will proceed East on Superior Street past Lake Avenue toward 2nd Avenue East where they turn up to 1st Street. They turn left on 1st Street and march in the LOWER lane to 2nd Avenue West. 1st Street remains open with traffic using the UPPER westbound lane. They then turn down 2nd Ave West in the LEFT lane and proceed to Superior Street to turn left back to Minnesota Power Plaza.
The procession will be lead and followed by marked squad cars, and other squads will assist in closing intersections as the group passes.
Drivers are urged to use caution when in the affected areas of the march, to expect traffic delays along the route, and to watch for officers directing traffic.
