On Saturday, April 26th, 2014 at 10:49 AM Duluth Police were called to the 10 block of West Michigan Street on the theft of a moped from the back of a pickup truck.
Initial investigation revealed a male suspect had taken the moped out of the bed of the owner’s truck and when the owner confronted the suspect at Lake Avenue & Superior Street he dropped it. He was last seen on foot eastbound on Superior Street.
At 11:55 AM Duluth Police received a call of a male suspect prowling vehicles in the Depot parking lot, 500 West Michigan Street.
