INCIDENT LOCATION:
The Duluth Police Department would like to remind citizens of Sunday’s Alternate side parking changeover. With the recent heavy snowfall, plow crews will be out in force Sunday night and Monday. Vehicles parked on the wrong side hamper crews’ ability to clear the streets.
The changeover period occurs every Sunday between the hours of 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Vehicles should be parked on the odd side of the street after 8:00 PM tomorrow (Sunday, December 27th, 2009). Police will be enforcing alternate side parking Sunday night and vehicles in violation may be towed.
Police will also be out enforcing 24 hour parking violators. Vehicles parked on city streets for more then 24 hours without moving, snow covered or not, are in violation and could be ticketed and/or towed.
The Police would like to thank the citizens of Duluth for their assistance and cooperation as plow crews clean up after the recent storm.
