Multi-Agency Emergency Exercise
Traffic Advisory - Garfield Avenue /Helberg Street
On Wednesday June 11th, 2014 from 7am-1pm, a multi-agency emergency exercise will be held at the Comfort Systems building on Garfield Avenue. This exercise will result in response from several different law enforcement and medical related agencies.
To facilitate this exercise, the two northbound lanes of Garfield Avenue between Helberg and Birch streets will be closed to traffic. The two southbound lanes will be coned for two-way traffic.
Helberg Street will be closed to all traffic from Garfield Ave to the north side of the Lot exit of Northland Bituminous/Sinnott Blacktop. Access to businesses on Helberg Street up to Northland Bituminous/Sinnott Blacktop will be from Port Terminal Drive.
Drivers in the area of the event need to be alert for street closures and officers directing traffic.
All roadways should be open to regular traffic by 1pm.
