Repairs to start on stairwell near Fitgers Brewery Complex

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is informing the public of some repair work that will take place starting tomorrow, June 11, 2014 on the stairwell that connects the Lakewalk trail up to Superior Street, between the Fitgers Brewery Complex and the Portland Malt Shop.

The stairs are not suitable for pedestrian use and will need to be reconstructed. Work will require the placement of fencing, trucks and some heavy equipment on site, though this will not obstruct the Lakewalk trail. Repairs are estimated to be complete in about three weeks pending good weather.
