INCIDENT LOCATION: US Bank, 2000 West Superior Street
On Friday, June 20th, 2014 at 9:41 AM Duluth Police were called to the US Bank at 2000 West Superior Street for a bank robbery.
Initial investigation revealed that a male suspect entered the bank, reached over the counter and held a knife to the teller’s throat and demanded money. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash and left the bank on foot. No one was injured.
At 10:20 AM a Duluth officer located the suspect on foot at 23rd Avenue West & # 1 alley. The stolen money was recovered. The suspect was identified as Scott Edward Wagner, a 51 year old male resident of Duluth.
Wagner was transported to the Saint Louis County Jail for Armed Robbery.
