Gas service being restored to portions of Central Hillside Neighborhood

after gas shut down this AM

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is restoring gas service to residents of the Central Hillside neighborhood due to a contractor making utility repairs in the area this morning. About 43 properties located between 4th and 7th Street and Lake Avenue and Mesaba Ave were impacted. The gas main has been repaired and city Utility Operations staff have to go door to door to relight gas pilots. 

 

The City apologizes for the inconvenience this has caused and thanks the public for their patience.
