Updated Hartley Park Mini-Master Plan Open For Public Comments
[Duluth, MN] – The City of Duluth invites the public to review and comment on the recently updated Mini Master Plan for Hartley Park, available at: http://www.duluthmn.gov/media/222497/June30HartleyPlan.pdf
Since last fall, the City of Duluth Parks Division has been working closely with the public on future improvements for Hartley Park. After much consideration of the input received from residents and user groups, the City modified its process to accommodate additional time for public comment on several key points and details in the plan document presented in March.
The Duluth Parks Commission met on May 14. During the meeting, staff presented information related to a handful of key components of the plan and asked for Commission input. Residents and members of the public had opportunities to comment regarding those areas.
City staff have reviewed all comments from the public, stakeholders, and the Parks Commission and has collaborated on the plan revisions with Hartley Nature Center staff. The final draft of the Hartley Mini-Master Plan is now available for final comments before the Parks Commission will determine its recommendation at their July 9 meeting.
Comments about the Mini-Master Plan can be made using this form available on the City’s website: http://www.duluthmn.gov/parks/mini-master-plans-2013/.
