The Duluth Fire Department responded to a garage fire at 4212 W. 8th St at 0300 this morning. Upon arrival, a two car detached garage was found with heavy fire showing. Crews made entry and extinguished the fire, containing damage to one side of the building. There were no vehicles in the garage at the time of the fire. No injuries are reported, and total damages are estimated at approximately $20,000.
The Duluth Fire Marshal is investigating as to the origin and cause of the fire.
