Traffic Detour/Street Closure for Lincoln Park "Meet on the Street"
On Sunday July 13th the Healthy Duluth Area Coalition will hold its Lincoln Park "Meet on the Street" event from 2pm - 6pm.
From 12:30pm until about 7pm, West 3rd Street will be closed to traffic from 24th Avenue West to 27th Avenue West.
Westbound traffic will be detoured down 24th Avenue West to Superior Street, West to 27th Avenue West and back up to 3rd Street.
Eastbound traffic will be detoured down 27th Avenue West to Superior Street, East to 24th Avenue West and back up to 3rd Street.
Detour signs will guide traffic on to these routes.
3rd Street will be posted No Parking on either side from 12noon-7pm, and vehicles will be tagged and towed to clear the event route. A portion of 27th Avenue West will also be posted No Park in the vicinity of 3rd Street to allow vehicles room to turn onto the 27th Avenue West detour route.
Drivers are asked to use caution in the area during this event, and to watch for detours, barricades, no parking signs and officers directing traffic.
