NATURE OF INCIDENT: Two Duluth Men Arrested for 2nd Degree Burglary

INCIDENT LOCATION: 1000 block of North 87th Avenue West
On Wednesday, July 23rd, 2014 at 10:39 PM Duluth Police were called to the 1000 block of North 87th Avenue West on a burglary in progress. A witness saw someone inside the residence with a flashlight and noticed a suspicious vehicle out front.
Officers arrived and found two suspects lying down in the suspicious vehicle. The suspects were identified as Jonathan Scott Lewis, a 20 year old male and Adam Jason Pierson, a 28 year old male, both residents of Duluth. Items stolen in the burglary were located in the vehicle with the suspects.
Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Saint Louis County Jail for 2nd Degree Burglary.
Jonathan Scott Lewis has the following convictions in Minnesota:
2012 – Felony Theft, Felony Criminal Damage to Property
2012 – Misdemeanor Theft & 4th Degree Criminal Damage to Property
Adam Jason Pierson has the following convictions in Minnesota:
2013 – Felony 2nd Degree Assault
2006 – DWI
2006 – Violation of Order for Protection (2 separate counts)
2005 – Disorderly Conduct
2005 – Domestic Assault
2004 - Theft
