News Conference Today at 2:00 PM

[Duluth, MN] - Join Mayor Don Ness, the Duluth Healthy Area Coalition and community members today at 2:00 PM in front of Jitters, 102 West Superior Street as they officially unveil the first Duluth "parklet."

 

Parklets are public spaces and serve as extensions of the sidewalk for pedestrian use. They typically reside in one or two parking spaces, and have features such as green space (vegetation), tables and seating, artwork, and bicycle parking. 

 

Mayor Ness and Lisa Luokkala, with Healthy Duluth Area Coalition, will provide brief comments and be available for interviews.
