INCIDENT LOCATION: 1200 block East 5th Street
On Wednesday, August 13th, 2014 at 11:21 AM Duluth Police were called to the 1200 block of East 5th Street for a male and female physically fighting outside.
Upon arrival officers found Jessica Michelle Esquival, a 23 year old female resident of Duluth and a 24 year old male resident of Duluth. The male was being uncooperative; officers found that he had a stab wound to his stomach. While trying to administer first aid he began fighting with officers and had to be physically restrained.
The male was transported to a local hospital for his non-life threatening injury.
Investigators executed a search warrant of the residence and located a knife believed to have been used in the assault.
Jessica Esquival was arrested for 2nd Degree Assault and 5th Degree Domestic Assault and brought to the Saint Louis County Jail.
