USS Duluth anchor to be installed on Lakewalk August 19 (updated information)


[Duluth, MN] - The USS Duluth naval ship anchor will be installed on August 19, 2014 on the Lakewalk trail.

Large equipment will be installed on the Lakewalk in order to move the anchor into its final position. Barriers will be in place along the Lakewalk on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 starting at 6:00 AM until about 11:00 AM from Endion Station to the Vietnam War Memorial. The public will not have access to that portion of the Lakewalk during this period of time. Superior Street should be used as an alternate route to reconnect to the other portions of the Lakewalk.
