Public invited to discuss Glenwood Street reconstruction

 
 

The City of Duluth is hosting a public meeting to discuss the reconstruction of Glenwood Street from 43rd Ave East to 60th Ave East.   The meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 13, at 6 pm at Faith Lutheran Church (1814 N 51st Avenue East).

 

The City is seeking public input on design elements to be included on Glenwood Street such as parking lanes, bike lanes, grass boulevards, and sidewalks.  A short presentation will be followed by discussion in small groups.  The discussion will be limited to the roadway section and features to be included.  

 

This project will be funded by federal, state, and local utility funds, and by special assessments to benefited properties.  Details of these assessments will be included in future mailings and meetings.
