At 22:17 on Monday night a call came in for a trash can fire. one rig was dispatched and upon arrival saw that a structure was involved. A regular alarm was struck and HQ,2E,8T responded. A total of 19 firefighters responded. the fire was knocked down fairly quick. the building was unoccupied. Damage estimates are about 5,000 dollars to the structure and 1,000 dollars to the contents. The fire was determined arson and in under investigation. Anyone with any information on the fire should contact Duluth Fire Dept. 730-4397. There were no injuries to any firefighter or civilians.
