Chester Bowl Park Soil Stabilization Work Underway

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is informing the public that Parks Maintenance crews will be out today, September 26, and Monday, September 29,  in Chester Bowl Park to work on soil stabilization on the hillside around the former location of the Chester Ski Jumps.

Crews will be laying down a special mat, seeding, and planting vegetation to control erosion and potential degradation of the soil in the case of future heavy rainfall or snow runoff. The work should not disrupt the public's use of the park.
