NATURE OF INCIDENT: Endangered Missing Person
CASE NO.: 14218348
INCIDENT DATE: 10/1/2014
INCIDENT TIME: 2:40 PM
INCIDENT LOCATION: near Denfeld High School

On Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 at 2:40 PM Duluth Police took the report of a 14 year old female that was pulled into a mini-van against her will near Denfeld High School. 

Preliminary information is the van was occupied by 4 black males and was last seen westbound on Grand Avenue. The van was described as an older silver mini-van in good condition with a stripe on it and had luggage rack on top.
The suspect who grabbed the victim was described as:
  • Black male
  • Dreads with brown tips, shoulder length hair
  • Wearing a black hoodie and New York Yankee’s baseball cap.
The 14 year old female victim has been identified as Kaytlyn Rae Quintana, she is described as follows:
  • White female
  • 4’11”
  • 110 pounds
The Duluth Police Department has entered Kaytlyn Rae Quintana as a Missing Person, issued a KOPS alert, provided information to the BCA for an Amber Alert and have contacted the FBI.
If anyone has any information about this incident they are asked to call 911.
