NATURE OF INCIDENT: Duluth Man Arrested for 1st Degree Burglary

INCIDENT TIME: 5:19 AM
INCIDENT LOCATION: 1300 block East 7th Street

On Sunday, October 5th, 2014 at 5:19 am Duluth Police were called to a residence in the 1300 block of East 7th Street for a burglary that had just occurred. The suspect was reported to have left with the victim’s computer.   

Officers located the suspect a few blocks away with the stolen computer and they found he had a replica handgun tucked in his waistband. He was identified as Isaiah Charles Buckanaga, a 24 year old resident of Duluth. 
Isaiah Buckanaga has the following convictions in Minnesota:
2008 – Misdemeanor Theft
2010 - Misdemeanor Theft
2011 - Misdemeanor Theft & False Information to Police
2012 – Financial Transaction Fraud – Gross Misdemeanor
2012 – False Information to Police
2013 - Misdemeanor Theft
2014 - Misdemeanor Theft
Buckanaga was brought to the Saint Louis County Jail for 1st Degree Burglary.
