Minnesota Slip Bridge To Be "Lowered" For Winter Season

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth Public Works and Utilities Department is informing the public that the Minnesota Slip Bridge (also known as the Blue Bridge), by the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center, will be put in the lowered position starting October 21, 2014 for the winter season. The last day of regular operation for the summer/fall season is October 20.

Water vessels needing passage after October 20 must provide 24 hours advance notice to the Bridge Operator. The Minnesota Slip Bridge was not designed to operate daily under cold weather conditions. The City thanks the boating community for their cooperation and understanding.
