The 36th Duluth D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Graduation will take place at 6 PM tomorrow night, Tuesday, January 19th, 2010,  at the DECC Auditorium.   Approximately 400 sixth grade students from Duluth Public, Edison and Parochial schools will be graduating from the D.A.R.E. Program.  Honored guests at the graduation include Duluth City Councilor Jeff Anderson, Duluth Deputy Police Chief John Beyer, Morgan Park Middle School Principal Denise Clairmont, and the Head of Edison Charter Schools, Bonnie Joregenson.  
 
Some of the topics covered in the D.A.R.E. Program include: the harmful effects of illegal drugs, drug resistance techniques, peer pressure, how to deal with and report bullying, and internet safety.
