Public Forum to Discuss On-Street Parking in the UMD/St. Scholastica Residential Area
[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth Parking Services office is inviting the community to a public forum to discuss on-street parking topics in areas located between the University of Minnesota Duluth and the College of St. Scholastica campuses (specifically the area bordered by College Street to the south, Buffalo Street to the north, Kenwood Avenue to the west, and Brainerd Avenue to the east).
The meeting will take place on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 5:00 PM in the Unitarian Universalist Congregation (UUC) Social Hall, located at 835 College Street, Duluth. Parking is available in the UCC parking lot or on the south side of College Street. This event is open to the public.
Attendees will hear from City staff about community input thus far, possible solutions, and engage in additional discussions about on-street parking recommendations that best meet the needs of the community. Final recommendations incorporating public input will be presented to the Duluth Parking Commission before going forward to the Duluth City Council for approval. Implementation of any changes requires Council approval.
