Weekend Bentleyville Attendees are Reminded of Additional Parking Options and Shuttle Services.
With record weekend attendance levels at the Bentleyville Tour of Lights and warmer temperatures in the forecast, attendees are being reminded of alternative modes of transportation and parking options.
While parking is available at lots adjacent to Bay Front Park, there has been considerable traffic congestion on the weekends, so visitors are being reminded of additional routes for accessing the lots, as well as options for parking nearby and free shuttles.
“We want all visitors to Bentleyville to have a great experience,” said founder Nathan Bentley. “But with record-breaking weekend crowds comes increased congestion and wait-times, so we want to help our visitors plan ahead.”
Additional parking is available at downtown streets and parking ramps along with parking in Canal Park area. The Greater Downtown Council continues to provide free shuttle service on Friday and Saturday nights to allow individuals to park in the business district and hop on board the “Jingle Bus” which runs approximately every 20 minutes. The Canal Park Jingle Bus stop is at Buchanan Street near Canal Park Drive, while the Downtown Jingle Bus travels along Superior Street with stops at Greysolon Plaza, Holiday Center and the Radisson Hotel. For more information please visit the www.bentleyvilleusa.org
Due to the anticipated increase in attendance this weekend, you are asked to use alternative routes entering the Bay Front Festival Park Area.
