Update on the City of Duluth’s Application for the Georgetown University Energy Prize
[Duluth, MN] – Mayor Don Ness and community partners will provide an update on the Georgetown University Energy Prize, a national competition challenging communities across the United States to rethink energy use. A press event in Washington, D.C. earlier in the morning will announce which 50 communities will be advancing in the competition and continue to lead the way on energy efficiency.

The $5 million Georgetown University Energy Prize challenges small- to medium-size towns, cities, and counties to rethink their energy use, and implement creative strategies to increase efficiency.
