Launch of the Duluth Blueprint for Safety
[Duluth, MN] – City, county and community leaders will announce the launch of the Duluth Blueprint for Safety at a news conference this Thursday. The Blueprint for Safety, a project funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women, strengthens the Duluth Model coordinated criminal justice response to domestic violence cases from 911 calls through probation.
WHAT: Launch of the Duluth Blueprint for Safety – a new collective policy which strengthens Duluth’s coordinated criminal justice response to domestic violence.
WHO: Bea Hanson, Principal Deputy Director, Office on Violence Against Women, U. S. Department of Justice; as well as representatives from: Duluth Police Department, Mayor’s Office, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, City Attorney’s Office, St. Louis County Attorney’s Office, Arrowhead Regional Corrections, and Domestic Abuse Intervention Programs.
