Water Main Repair To Impact Water Service in Upper Lincoln Park and Lower Piedmont Neighborhoods
[Duluth, MN] - On Wednesday, February 11, 2015, the City of Duluth Public Works & Utilites staff will be repairing a water leak at W 3rd St and 14th Ave West between 11:00 am and 7:00 pm. This work will affect one of the two 10” mains that serve the Lincoln Park and Piedmont neighborhoods.
Residents and businesses in lower Piedmont and upper Lincoln Park may experience low water pressure or periodic outages as the City will not be able to provide enough water through one pipe to adequately serve the impacted area. The area that will be effected during the repair period is below 16th St between 29th Ave W and 22nd Ave W. Those located higher up the hill may experience the most disruption and intermittent water outages. The city is working to notify the residents in the impacted area.
