The Duluth Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating two children who are with a noncustodial parent against a court order. The mother is identified as 20 year old Tameicia Morris. Morris is an African-American female, 5 feet 4 inches and 135 pounds. We do not believe Morris currently has a vehicle. Morris took the children for a visit against the court order and has not returned them.
The children we are attempting to locate are identified as: Shaniya Chism, 7 months old and Jameicia Chapman, 2 years old. Both children are also African-American.
It is believed that Morris and her children may be in the Duluth or St Paul areas. Both children have been entered into the National Crime Information Center database as missing children.
Duluth Police have attempted to locate the children at numerous locations and have been unable to locate them at this time.
Anybody with information on the whereabouts of Morris and her children are urged to call 911immediately.
***Update***
The children and their mother have been located safe in Buffalo, New York. The children are currently in protective custody and arrangements will be made to return the children to St. Louis County.
