Public Meeting to Discuss Future Plans for Riverside and Smithville Neighborhoods of Duluth
[Duluth, MN] – The City of Duluth Planning division invites the public to a visioning session focused on “Kayak Bay,” the area between Lenroot Creek and Knowlton Creek, and from the base of Spirit Mountain to the St. Louis River. Neighborhoods located within this area are Riverside and a portion of Smithville. Input gathered from this small area planning process will complement future activities and improvements to the St. Louis River Corridor initiative.
The public is encouraged to attend and provide input on future land uses, economic development opportunities, residential needs, and recreational enhancements. The meeting will take place on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 5:30 PM in the Morgan Park Community Center, 1242 88th Avenue.
Questions can be directed to John Kelley in the City’s Planning Division at (218) 730-5326.
