Duluth Legacy Endowment Fund Grant Awards to Benefit Community
[Duluth, MN] - The Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation announced the award of $8,750 in Duluth Legacy Endowment Fund grants that will improve and enhance public spaces and initiatives.
The funds will benefit the community through extending the “parklet” project another year with the A.H. Zeppa Family Foundation; creating a teen friendly community space with age appropriate furniture at the Duluth Public Library in West Duluth; upgrading audio visual technology at the Gary New Duluth Development Alliance community building; and improving audio technology at the Lake Superior Zoo with the addition of a public address system.
The Fund has awarded over $42,706 in grants since 2007 to improve the quality of life in our community. Grants are awarded in the areas of arts and culture, beautification, economic development, education, environment, human service, and parks and recreation in partnership with the City of Duluth.
