Road Closures Planned Related to DTA Multimodal Transportation Center


[Duluth, MN] - The new Duluth Transit Multimodal Transportation Center construction is progressing well. Upcoming work requires more materials to be hauled onto the site. In order to deliver materials, large heavy equipment will be utilized causing some disruption to two downtown roads. On May 15, 2015 West Michigan Street between 2nd Ave West and 3rd Ave West will be closed from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM. In addition, the Frontage Road (runs parallel to I35) next to the construction site will also be closed between First Ave West and 3rd Ave West on May 15 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. 

Motorists should plan around these closures and use alternate routes to access downtown businesses and parking.
