INCIDENT LOCATION: 1700 Trail Drive and Chisholm Street
On May 23rd, 2015 at 12:05 a.m. Duluth Police were called to the area of 1700 Trail Drive and Chisholm Street on a report of a stolen vehicle after a resident heard his vehicle starting and driving away. An Officer en-route to the call spotted the stolen vehicle as at traveled southbound on Woodland Avenue near Oxford Street. The suspect stopped the vehicle on a dead end street and fled into the neighborhood on foot. A St. Louis County Sheriff’s Deputy and K9 were called to assist Duluth Police locating the suspect hiding in the area. 21 year old, Josiah Delvecchio of Duluth was arrested and taken to the St. Louis County Jail on vehicle theft, tampering with a motor vehicle, and fleeing police charges. No property was damaged and no injuries occurred in this incident.
