Repairs on Congdon Boulevard Start June 22 
 
[Duluth, MN] - Following the summer 2012 flood in Duluth, Congdon Boulevard suffered slope, storm pipe, and guardrail failures at several locations. The City of Duluth is planning to start repairs on June 22, 2015 on the retaining wall between the Boulevard and the shoreline with a detour for northeast-bound traffic scheduled until September 17, 2015.  The detour will be from Lakewood Road to McQuade Road. The approximate locations of construction will take place from 7801 Congdon Boulevard to 90th Ave. E.
 

Additional work is planned for 2016 which will include pavement reclamation, re-paving, slope repairs and guard rail improvements.

The schedule for this 2015 project may vary slightly depending on weather and availability of materials and equipment.
