Road Project on East 2nd Street Delayed

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth Street Maintenance team is informing the public and residents who live along East 2nd Street (between 26 Ave East and Hawthorne Road) that the mill and overlay project completion will be delayed due to equipment repairs. The no parking rule will end today and regular alternate side parking can resume. The City anticipates restarting the work next week at which point the "No Parking" rule will be in effect again for the duration of the project. Residents should abide by the request to avoid ticketing and towing. Once the project resumes, the entire process should only take several days to finish, barring unsuitable weather conditions and unforeseen equipment failures.
