INCIDENT LOCATION: Duluth, MN
On Wednesday, July 29th, 2015 at 8:52 p.m. Duluth Police responded to the area of the 1000 block of 88th Avenue West on multiple reports of several individuals fighting. Officers arrived at the scene and individuals involved in the fight fled the area. A 21 year old male victim was taken to a local hospital facility with unknown injuries. Duluth Police continue to investigate the incident and no other information is available.
Update:
Duluth Police Investigators identified three juvenile males and have established probable cause to arrest them in connection with the assault. The victim has been identified as 21 year old Matthew Rewald who is listed in fair condition at St. Mary’s Hospital. No other information is available at this time.
At this time the Duluth Police Department have arrested the three juvenile males in connection with this incident. The two 17 year olds and one 16 year old were lodged for charges of 3rd degree assault. No further information is available at this time.
