Michigan St. (between 2nd Ave W and 1st Ave W) to close on September 1 for construction work

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is informing the public that Kraemer Construction will have a crane working at the US Bank Building in downtown Duluth on Tuesday, September 1st between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.  The work will require the closure of Michigan St. between 2nd Ave W and 1st Ave W during that time.  The detour will direct traffic to use 2nd Ave W up to Superior Street and back down on 1st Ave W.  1st Ave W between Michigan St. and Superior St. is now open to two way traffic, following the completion of the water and gas utility work.  Access to the US Bank parking ramp is available from 1st Ave West then making a right turn at Michigan St.
