NATURE OF INCIDENT: Alzheimer Walk Traffic Advisory

INCIDENT TIME: 10:00 a.m.
INCIDENT LOCATION: Duluth Waterfront Area

On Saturday, September 12th, the Alzheimer Walk will be held in the waterfront area, resulting in traffic interruption on Harbor Drive behind the DECC.   The event starts at 10:00 a.m.  and will last for approximately 1 1/2 hours.

 

Harbor Drive behind the DECC will close to traffic at 9:00 a.m.  and will reopen about 11:30 a.m.

 

All DECC Lot entrances and exits will remain open and unaffected by this closure.  Vehicles needing to get to loading dock entrances behind the DECC can do so with assistance from on scene Duluth Police Officers or Duluth Police Reserves.

 

The aquarium lot will remain open during the entire event, accessible down 5th Avenue West.

 

Motorists driving in the area of this event should be aware of these brief street closures, watch for barricades and officers directing traffic.
