INCIDENT LOCATION: 200 East Block of House Street Duluth

On Monday, September 7th, 2015 at 10:12 a.m. Duluth Police responded to the area of 200 East House Street on a reported vehicle prowl that took place overnight.

 

Later in the day, the victim called 911 to report a vehicle that he was following had his stolen Rims and Tires strapped to its roof.  Duluth Officers locate and stop the vehicle.  The driver was identified as 28 year old Joel Paulson.   The victim’s belongings along with numerous other items were recovered from Paulson’s vehicle.  Officers were able to determine that the other items in Paulson’s possession were from various car prowls and burglaries during the weekend.  Thanks to the work of the responding officers the items were also returned to their owners.  Paulson was arrested and was taken to St. Louis County Jail on Felony Theft Charges.  Paulson was formally charged in St. Louis District Court with 3 counts of Felony Theft.
