Duluth Indigenous Commission to Hold Annual Feast and Forum September 24

The Duluth Indigenous Commission invites the public to the annual Feast and Forum to celebrate and educate the community about the Commission’s work and indigenous culture in Duluth.  This celebration will be:

When: September 24, 2015 from 6-9 pm

Where:  Trepanier Hall at AICHO, 202 W. 2nd Street Duluth, MN 55802

What: The City of Duluth’s Indigenous Commission invites you to the annual Feast and Forum. This annual celebration will be open to the public. This year’s Feast & Forum will highlight findings from the Ethnographic Study conducted by Dr. Bruce White

All community members are welcome and invited to bring a dish to share.

The Indigenous Commission (previously known as the American Indian Commission) works to ensure that the views of the Indigenous Community are incorporated in the decision-making, future planning, and stewardship of the city of Duluth; it endeavors to act as a guide in the development of public policy, planning and services so that the Indigenous Community is adequately represented in these processes and also works to increase understanding and acceptance of the Indigenous Community and culture.
