Duluth Police respond to disturbance call in the 2100 block of West Third Street.
 
On Sunday, February 28th, 2010, at 2:06 PM, the Duluth Police Department responded to a disturbance call in the 2100 block of West Third Street. The reporting party, William Billington, stated that two males had just chased him into his house and that he went back outside with his shotgun and fired a bean bag round at them. Billington said that he did not hit either of the males.
 
Police located Billington and the other parties involved in the incident. After speaking with them, William Jacob Billington, age 18 of Duluth, was taken into custody and lodged at the St. Louis County jail pending formal charges by the St. Louis County Attorneys Office for Second Degree Assault and Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, both felonies.
 
Robert Owen Billington, age 67 of Duluth, was also arrested and lodged at the St. Louis County Jail pending formal charges for Obstructing Legal Process with Force.
 
No further details are available and the investigation is ongoing.
