Duluth Police respond to man threatening to jump from the top level of the Holiday Center Parking Ramp.
Today, at 2:37 pm, Duluth Police responded to the Holiday Center Parking Ramp, 207 West Superior Street, on a call from a male who said he was on the top level of the parking ramp and about to jump. Police arrived and found the 59 year old male leaning over the edge just above the Superior Street entrance to the Holiday Center. Police negotiated with the man for over three hours until they were able to pull him from the edge at 5:58 pm. The male was transported to the SMDC Medical Center Mental Health unit for evaluation.
Superior Street in front of the Holiday Center was closed during the incident.
