INCIDENT LOCATION: 16th Avenue East and 5th Street Duluth
On Saturday, September 26th, 2015 at 7:19 a.m. Duluth Police responded to the area of 16th Avenue East and 5th Street on a report of a person looking into vehicles. Officers arrived at the scene and located a male identified as 24 year old Brandon Shaw. Officers determined through investigation that multiple vehicles had been broken into and items were taken. Shaw was arrested and formally charged in district court on gross misdemeanor tampering with motor vehicle charges and felony possession of burglary/theft tools.
Shaw has prior convictions to include criminal damage to property, theft of a motor vehicle, and multiple tampering with motor vehicle.
