NATURE OF INCIDENT: Heroin Drug Arrest
CASE NO.: 15225262 and 15225442
INCIDENT DATE: 10/7/2015
INCIDENT TIME: 5:14 p.m.
INCIDENT LOCATION: Harbor Highlands Drive and Central Entrance Duluth
On October 7th, 2015 Duluth Police Department, Superior Police Department and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force arrested 28 year old Frank Washington of Duluth for selling heroin. During the arrest investigators located heroin packaged for sale along with other evidence of heroin sales.
On October 9th, 2015 Washington was formally charged in Saint Louis County District Court with 2nd degree sale of heroin.
Washington is currently in custody at the Saint Louis County Jail in Duluth. Washington’s bail has been set at $50,000.00. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant Saint Louis County Attorney Jessica Fralich.
At the time of his arrest, Washington was already on probation for 2nd degree sale and 3rd degree sale of a controlled substance.
This is one of many recent arrests of heroin dealers made by Duluth Police and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force. Many of these arrests would not be possible without the help we receive from citizens throughout the Twin Ports area. The anonymous tips that are made by citizens who report illegal or suspicious drug activity are extremely helpful in these investigations.
