On Monday, December 7th, 2015, members of the Duluth Police Department, Superior Police Department and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 6200 block of Grand Avenue. The search warrant was executed as part of an ongoing heroin investigation. During the execution of the search warrant, investigators arrested 20 year old CHAKOTAY BOBBIE JOHNSON, a resident of Chicago, IL. At the time of his arrest JOHNSON was found to be in possession of approximately 32 grams of heroin which was packaged for sale. Additionally, JOHNSON was in possession of $7,440.00 in United States currency. JOHNSON was formally charged this morning in Saint Louis County District Court with 1st degree sale of heroin. JOHNSON is currently in custody at the Saint Louis county Jail in Duluth.
