BY: DPD Public Information Officer R. Tinsley (218) 730-5722

NATURE OF INCIDENT: Traffic Advisory
CASE NO.:
INCIDENT DATE: 12/11/2015
INCIDENT TIME:
INCIDENT LOCATION: Decc and Bayfront Area

Traffic Advisory

Bentleyville is on schedule to break attendance records of year’s past, which means parking will be difficult in Bayfront Park, Canal Park and DECC area.  This upcoming weekend with multiple events at the DECC, expect traffic delays and congestion as well as limited parking in the area.

Due to the UMD vs. North Dakota hockey game, the MN Ballet’s Nutcracker performances, the Arrowhead Ice Fishing, Snowmobile &  Holiday Show, and Bentleyville, expect record breaking attendance.  We ask that those attending these events utilize parking ramps in Downtown Duluth and use the skywalk to access the DECC and Bayfront Park.

Doing so will help reduce the wait time to less than one hour for those entering Bayfront Park,  Canal Park, and the DECC via I-35. Plus, you will be able to arrive at your event on time.
