INCIDENT LOCATION: Lake Avenue and 9th Street Duluth
On Wednesday, December 16th, 2015 at 11:39 a.m. Duluth Police responded to the area of Lake Avenue and 9th Street on a report of a burglary. Officers arrived at the scene and spoke to the victim. The victim gave a description of the suspect and direction of travel. Officers located and arrested 57 year old Randy Gene Wosmek of Duluth in connection with the burglary. During search incident to arrest, stolen items from the residence were located on Wosmek. Wosmek was formally charged with 1st Degree Burglary in St. Louis District Court.
Wosmek has an extensive criminal history to include receiving stolen property, several burglary convictions, damage to property, obstructing legal process, and several driving violations.
