INCIDENT LOCATION: 3901 East Superior Street Duluth
On Saturday, January 12th, 2016 at 1:35 a.m. Duluth Police responded to an alarm at the Northland Country Club located at 3901 East Superior Street. Officers arrived at the scene and conducted a building search to make sure no one was inside. Officers located a male in the area who initially gave a false name and was later identified as 34 year old Colin James Gantz. Gantz admitted to entering the building and had items from the building in his possession. Gantz was taken to jail and has been formally charged in St. Louis County District Court for 3rd Degree Burglary and false name to police.
Gantz has an extensive criminal history and has been convicted on two counts of felony theft of a motor vehicle, multiple thefts, and traffic violations.
