Portion of Lakewalk closed to repairs

 

The section of the Lakewalk located between the Canal Park Lodge and Comfort Suites Hotel will be inaccessible for the remainder of this week due to repairs.  Other portions of the Lakewalk will be remain open. 

The public is advised to stay clear of the work site.  Northland Construction will be using heavy equipment to replace boulders washed out by strong winds and waves.  The boulders were used to keep materials in place forming a strong foundation for the boardwalk.

For those driving down to access the Lakewalk, parking near the Endion station is recommended.

The City appreciates the cooperation and patience of the public during this repair period.
