Mayor Larson Announces Erik Peterson to Join Transition Team

[Duluth, MN] - Mayor Emily Larson is announcing the addition of Erik Peterson to her transition team. Peterson is being brought on as a consultant with a time limited contract. He has 35 years of experience as a community and electoral organizer, is an organizational development specialist, a community-based educator and also the founder and President of Bending the Arc Strategies. Peterson's main role will be to advise Mayor Larson during her first 100 days in office to help develop a long-term framework for her vision and priorities. Peterson will also be connecting with community members, stakeholders and city staff.

"Erik has keen insight into public sector organizations. He will bring a wealth of knowledge and great perspective to help me develop my vision for Duluth. I love my new job serving Duluth residents and am grateful to our great city staff who work hard every day serving the community. Bringing in Erik's expertise for the next few months will help me be a more effective Mayor over the length of my service.
