INCIDENT LOCATION: 800 North block of 23rd Avenue West Duluth
On Thursday, February 4th, 2016 at 3:49 p.m. Duluth Police responded to a residence in the area of the 800 North block of 23rd Avenue West on a report of a burglary. Officers arrived at the scene and spoke to the homeowner who stated a male suspect entered his home while he was inside, grabbed his wallet, and left out the door. Officers locate the male suspect in the area of 700 Garfield Avenue who was identified as 31 year old Peter John Jongewaard. Jongewaard was taken to jail and formally charged in St. Louis County District Court for 1st Degree Burglary.
