Mayor Larson to host second community listening series

Mayor Larson is hosting community listening series with each City Councilor in their respective districts

[Duluth, MN] – Mayor Emily Larson and City Council President Zack Filipovich invite the public to attend "City Hall in the City," on March 16, 2016, the second in a series of community listening sessions focused on providing residents with the chance to share ideas, concerns and needs with the Mayor and a Councilor.

This second City Hall in the City will take place on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 5:30 pm in the Lower Chester Community Recreation building located at 1417 East 5th Street.

Residents are welcome and encouraged to attend, meet individually with Mayor Larson and Councilor Filipovich, or to write down their concerns to be reviewed with staff at a later date. In addition, Mayor Larson will have art supplies there for children to share their own ideas for the City. Drawings collected from the meeting will be hung in the Mayor’s office and shared with Councilor Filipovich.

Residents will have another opportunity to meet with Mayor Larson in May when the Mayor will co-host City Hall in the City with First District City Councilor Gary Anderson. The location will be confirmed in a forthcoming public notice.

All residents are encouraged to participate.
